At Community Church, we love kids! And we love connecting them to Christ in a very real way. It is our intention to care for them in the best way we can. They are welcome to join you for services, but they might enjoy what we have planned for them even more.
Small Groups / Wednesdays / 6:45 pm - 8:15pm
Wednesdays from 6:45-8:15pm for kids in kindergarten-5th grade. Having church friends is important for kids as they navigate their way through elementary school! At small groups, kids will strengthen those relationships while they grow in faith, through fun games & activities, and fun ways of merging scripture with their every day. This year’s focus will be on prayer. We will introduce kids to lots of different forms of prayer, and these young prayer warriors will learn that there’s no wrong way to talk to God!
Your preschoolers are invited to join us Wednesday nights 6:45-8:15pm for preschool small group. We will read and act out Bible stories, create crafts, and make music. Children will also be invited to sing their songs once a month in a worship service as a part of our new preschool choir, the Treble Makers. All potty-trained preschoolers are welcome!

Community's Kids Experience
Sunday Mornings at 8:30 am, 10:30 am and 11 am
Kids in preschool – 5th grade will experience Jesus in a whole new way on Sunday mornings!
CK’s Experience will bring together the very best of Sunday School with the best of Kids Worship, offering a “totally awesome, you won’t want to miss this” experience. All ages will join in worship time that will model many parts of adult worship from both the Traditional & Current styles.
Worship time will include praise music, prayer, and an intro to the sermon. Then they will break into smaller groups that are age appropriate for the core of the week’s message. In these groups, kids will experience lesson activities, scripture challenges, and life applications. This will also include many of the milestones that Community Church has valued over the years in our Sunday School program! We will come back together to wrap up and send out. The same CK’s Experience will take place at both the early service and the later service.

Each summer our Christian Camps, Camp Allegheny, Jumonville and Camp Wesley Woods, offer a broad spectrum of camping experiences for children, youth and adults. Brochures and scholarships are provided by Community Church.
Community Church’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a local area favorite. Each summer we host around 350 kids, ages 4-5th grade. Kids a new Bible story each day and travel to different stations for activities, games, and even snacks, that will help them find out what that Bible story means to their own life! Kids are also introduced to a mission project where they’ll learn how they can give back to others in need.
