worship services

We strive to make our four weekend worship services meaningful expressions of our love for God. We want our worship to carry on as we leave the church and throughout our daily living.

Community Church encourages worshipers to actively participate in our weekly service, and the church offers a variety of ministries for all ages that allow each participant to make worship a more personal experience.

Whether it is preparing the sanctuary for worship, providing music during the service or acting as a liturgist, it is our hope that each member will discover a way to be more involved in worship.

Current worship

On Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m., worshipers have the opportunity to learn about and grow in Jesus Christ through the Current service.

Member-led praise bands bring uplifting contemporary music as well as traditional hymns with a modern twist. Pastor Rich Phipps presents sermons that allow further opportunity to gain knowledge through Biblical teaching.

These services meet in the church Multi-Ministry Room (MMR).

Traditional worship

People interested in a traditional church service have the benefit of Community Church’s Sunday morning services, offered at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

These services offer traditional hymns and other music, presented by our choir, accompanists, and selected guest artists.  Pastor John Ciampa leads each service, presenting gospel-based sermons.

The traditional services meet in the church’s Sanctuary.

The river

On the second Wednesday of each month, we worship together in The River. This 30 minute service focuses on prayer, scripture readings and chants, and it is intended to offer a meaningful worship experience.

The River is celebrated the second Wednesday of each month starting at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.
